You still sleep among the Merzouga dunes, but the return follows a different road through the Draa Valley and Ouarzazate, so every day brings new scenery. Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades
Cross the mountains, explore Ait Ben Haddou and overnight in the Dades Valley.

Day 2: Dades – Todra Gorge – Merzouga
Walk the Todra Gorge, continue via Erfoud and ride camels into Erg Chebbi for the night.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate
Sunrise in the dunes, Rissani market, then west through the Draa palm groves to Ouarzazate.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Tizi n'Tichka – Marrakech
A final mountain crossing with photo stops and arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon.
