Short on time but dreaming of the Sahara? This two-day private escape crosses the High Atlas, stops at the clay fortress of Ait Ben Haddou and follows the date-palm oases of the Draa Valley down to the dunes of Zagora. You ride a camel at golden hour, eat dinner beside the campfire and sleep in a comfortable tented camp before driving back to Marrakech the next afternoon.
Morning pick-up at your riad and a scenic climb over the High Atlas. Lunch stop near Ait Ben Haddou, then on through Ouarzazate and the Draa Valley palm groves. Camels are waiting at the edge of the dunes for a sunset ride to camp, where dinner is served under the stars.
Wake early to watch the sun rise over the sand, enjoy breakfast in camp and ride back to the vehicle. Return north via the kasbahs of Agdez and the Atlas mountain road, arriving in Marrakech in the early evening.
